RSQ Retail SQL System
Large client migrations to the new SQL version of Profitek retail are
progressing well. Host Control is much more stable and real time product lookups
and stock transfers are now available. Fully touch capable, RSSQL has better
capability in high volume applications. The shopping cart interface has been
enhanced with web specific category controls and image uploads.Please go to the marketing materials page

Profitek EMV CHIP Offerings - Canada By 2015, magnetic stripes will no
longer be usable in Canada.
Profitek has both integrated and
semi-integrated solutions with different carriers. For Moneris, we offer a fully
integrated POSPad VX-810 for retail ands quickservice. This PINPad is network
connected and fully out of scope for PA-DSS because the Profitek workstation
never sees card data, only amounts and approval codes. For Global Payments, and
First Data, we offer the ICT-250 semi- integrated solution that allows printing
to the POS slip printer and batch day end processing of multiple units. It is
also network connected and out of scope.

Table service customers can process with Moneris, Chase Paymentech, or Global
Payments using the IWL 220/250 series of devices.
EMV CHIP - USA
Chip and PIN is coming to the US with the liability shift in the fall of 2015.
Profitek has an advantage over many POS companies because we have been dealing
with this in Canada for 3 years now. Information from the US processing industry
is sketchy right now, we are trying to learn more and will update dealers as we
do.

Wait List Management is an
important new feature. You will see the button on the main table management
screen
GC preauthorization has been added. Slips will be printed to allow guest to add
a tip amount to the GC payment.
Suggested tip amounts can be added to the bottom of receipts, to help customers
calculate the tip they want.

RMT Android Tablet
Our RMT tablet application has been enhanced with a full table layout and
entry by seat number. this application is really taking off this summer. Dealers

Windows XP
With the discontinued Microsoft support for XP, it is in the interest of most
customers to update old equipment. It is an opportunity for dealers to sell new
equipment and Profitek Updates. Our equipment suppliers are reporting increased
volume for new all in one terminals.
We have tested Profitek with Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry (POSReady version of
WIN8). Remember WIN7 up requires Epson advanced drivers so check printers when
upgrading old XP systems.
